All Certified Public Accountants (CPA) are accountants, but not all accountants are CPA's.  Accounting professionals handle a variety of jobs and tasks.  They offer basic income tax preparations and advice for individuals, small businesses, and corporations.  CPA's perform basic record keeping, auditing, and tax consulting work.
